Become A Pet Sitter
So, you love animals more than people? You’re in good company.
At Pawstars, we’re not just a pet care service—we’re a five-star concierge for furry royalty. We’re on the lookout for dedicated, kind-hearted, slightly fur-obsessed individuals to join our growing family of pet whisperers.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for home visits (up to 60 mins or more depending on how much attention Fluffy demands), which may include:
- Cleaning litter trays, cages, bowls—and sometimes mysterious messes (you’ve been warned).
- Feeding as per the owner’s instructions (yes, sometimes there’s a spreadsheet).
- Dog walking (and of course, poop-scooping—glamorous, we know).
- Administering medications (only if you're comfortable and confident).
- Showering pets with love, cuddles, and attention.
- Sending daily photo/video updates that make pet parents go “Awwww!”
- You’ll also attend ‘Meet & Greets’ before any new sitting gig to shake paws and go over the pet’s royal decree (a.k.a. care instructions).
- We also offer overnight stays for VIPets, so occasional pyjama parties with pets may be part of your schedule.
- Who We're Looking For
- Obsessed with animals (in a good way).
- Prior pet industry experience? Gold star! ⭐
- Confident with medications (the pets’, not yours).
- Can juggle multiple visits in a day without turning into a stress-ball.
- Friendly, reliable, and fluent in English (reading/writing/speaking).
- What We Require
- Willing to work weekends, public holidays, and evenings if needed (pets don’t take holidays).
- Happy to attend training sessions, including Pet First Aid & CPR.
- UAE driving license + your own transport = a must.
- Valid UAE residency visa.
- Clean background (police clearance required).
- Perks of Being a Pawstar
- Flexibility – no two days are the same.
- You get paid to hang out with animals. Enough said.
- Career growth as we expand.
- A work family that values laughter, loyalty, and lint rollers.
